Chanel's front row can be understood as a litmus test for who's one to watch in the fashion world. This latest season's show saw a fresh face joining the ranks—none other than actress and activist Amandla Stenberg. Taking a break from promoting her new film, As You Are, the rising style star was spotted in Paris making her sartorial mark—so much so that W just named her "Karl Lagerfeld's Newest Chanel Muse."
Stenberg's approach to styling for the fashion week front row was a fresh departure from the typical tweed ensembles that make up the majority of the attendance. She opted instead for an all-black form-fitting knit dress boasting a retro drop-waist that gave way to a delicate lace appliqué skirt that hit at the shin. She paired the striking silhouette with lace-up black ankle boots and a matching shoulder bag, all Chanel. Taking a look back at her best style, it's obvious the young star has the makings of the next big thing. From wide-leg satin suit combos in cranberry red to metallic ice-blue trenches paired with knee-high boots, Stenberg is all for experimenting with bold pieces while making them her own.
