This Is Why Amanda Seyfried Won't Wear a White Wedding Dress
You may remember that Amanda Seyfried debuted her refreshingly simple engagement ring back in September. We loved how she went the nontraditional route and opted for a simple gold band instead of a flashy diamond—how un-Hollywood is that? Now we've learned that Seyfried's wedding will be just as low-key as her engagement ring choice.
In a new interview with Vogue Australia, she dished about her upcoming nuptials. "I don't want to be the center of attention," she told the magazine. "I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time. I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown designed by Riccardo Tisci; I've played a bride a billion times."
So what does that mean when it comes to her wedding dress? Seyfried told E! Online that she doesn't want a white gown. "I got married so many times in my life—on-screen!" she told the site. "I don't want a white dress! I've worn so many of them. You know what I mean? The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment." We have a feeling that indie brides everywhere will agree with her sentiments.
