How Alexa Chung Styled a $45 T-Shirt for London Fashion Week

Leave it to Alexa Chung to make everyone's favorite wardrobe staple—the graphic tee—feel totally fresh. Spotted outside the J.W.Anderson show at London Fashion Week, Chung sported the In Solidarity T-Shirt ($45) from The Deep End Club, an indie brand based in New York City. (Chung isn't just a casual fan of the brand—she actually models in The Deep End Club's product images for the line's selection of graphic tees as well.)

Her tee is undeniably cool, but it's the way she styled it that really caught our eye. For starters, she added an amazing black patent trench coat, which is a cool twist on the traditional khaki versions. She then opted for some on-trend cropped flare jeans and a quirky socks-with-sandals combo, resulting in a perfect look that stays true to her signature aesthetic. In other words, we're dying to copy the outfit pronto.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
