The latest news on the Adele front is that the superstar singer is reportedly in talks to make a cameo in a feature film by the director of her “Hello” music video, according to Deadline. The director in question is French-Canadian Xavier Dolan, and the film is The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, starring Jessica Chastain and Kit Harington.

According to Dolan, Adele is a natural thespian. As he tells Entertainment Weekly, “I had always harbored the hope that she would be a natural. I see her interviews, see her laughing: There’s no way this woman, who is so complete emotionally and psychologically, there’s no way she’s not a good actor.” Dolan was also responsible for the memorable fur coat that Adele wears in the video, saying, “I saw that piece of fabric in a couture shop, so there’s only one.” Fun fact: Dolan stars in Louis Vuitton’s F/W 15 print campaign.

In the meantime, we have the November 20 release of her album 25 and November 21 appearance on Saturday Night Live to feed our Adele appetite.
