Though he hardly looks it, Marc Jacobs turns 51 today. To celebrate, we’ve gone beyond the kilts and indie actress besties and delved into Jeopardy! question territory with some little known facts about the pint-sized, muscle-bound designer. Prepare to be bemused.

In an interview with British Vogue, he compared his relationship with then LVMH boss, Bernard Arnault, to that of Babe the pig and his reticent but well-meaning owner. “I am that pig and he pats me on the back and says, ‘That’ll do, pig,’ and I just feel this is the highest praise.”
