July
If youÂ're anything like us, the prospect of putting together another cute outfit is about as appealing as a cross-country road trip sans A/C. In other words, not very. But even if you feel you have run out of gas with your clothing creativity, todayÂ's MySpace Muses are sure to rev you up! This especially impressive bunch showcases a variety of ensembles that span all of summer's various needs, turning your sweet stop at WhoWhatWear.com into a full goodie load-up that will sustain your style-setting journey. Not only have our muses enlightened us with perfectly stylish everyday outfits, they have filled our sartorial tank with a dose of sleekness, whether it's in the form of a slinky jumpsuit, a perfectly picked floral or slick boots tucked neatly into skinny jeans. In the event that summer has you lolly-gagging in the great outdoors, we are also privy to a healthy dose of al-fresco wear with new ways to reinvent our favorite standby itemÂ--denim, denim everywhere. And just to keep you on your pedicured-and-sandaled toes, we've thrown an exciting surprise in the mix (Muse #2!)Â...because even on that long stretch of summerÂ's highway we love to crank up the volume, put the pedal to the medal and stir things up in style.

Girly florals look cool with chunky jewelry and tough black boots.
Our first muse, Ashley, 25, from Los Angeles, is a lovely lesson in California cool. She personalizes a blooming trend (unfussy florals, of course) with cuffed sleeves and a thin belt, which adds an easy glamour to her bohemian chic style. Yet, she doesn't stop there. Not to be tagged as overly-girly, Ashley gives her Topanga-Canyon ensemble a one-two punch by accessorizing with a pair of seriously tough, black boots. You can recreate your own version of Ashley's surprising style by picking up Beny & Hizzin's Floral Printed Dress ($84) and adding Frye's Maxine Trapunto Boots ($298) for a similarly satisfying high-contrast look.

A semi-loose graphic tee and slim jean shorts make a great combo.
We're never ones to shy away from the boys (particularly their blazers, jeans, and button-downs!) so when confronted with the image of William, 19, from Brooklyn, we were immediately smitten with his style. Perfect for a day out of doors, William shows us how to wear a simple outfit that is quietly stylish. His rolled jean shorts and loose t-shirt combo are ideal for a picnic in the park, and, unlike a skirt or a dress, this outfit will have you at the ready if a member of your party wants to throw a Frisbee or football in the mix. Borrow from the boys and steal William's covetable style by pairing Topman's Light Ripped Denim Shorts ($50) with an equally cool graphic tee like Friend or Foe's Coltrane Stardust Tee ($65) or Ever's Last Hurrah's Tee ($70) which also boasts a pocket.

A boxy denim vest is an interesting addition to any summer outfit.
Fully entrenched in our love for all things nineties-inspired, we were psyched when we came across Jamie, 20, from Nebraska, and her light-wash denim vest. Worn in conjunction with her gray pocket skirt, the result is a cute hourglass silhouette in which to sail through summer. Snag Jamie's throwback style by pairing Bootheel Trading Co.'s Denim Vest ($57) with a casual cotton midi like the Melange Jersey Pocket Skirt ($30) from American Apparel. Clearly, Jamie's hero piece is her covetable vest, yet her outfit gets an extra boost with a loosely tied leopard-print scarf. You can snag a similar look with Tolani's Animal Print Scarf ($92) in traditional leopard. Or, you can add some equally fashionable flair to your ensemble by going in a totally different direction and hitting up your local vintage store for some nineties-concert pins to stud your lapel.

Cuffed sleeves and cage heels elevate a simple black jumpsuit.
By now the jumpsuit has reached staple-status, so like unfussy florals which we referred to in our first tip, we are always investigating new and chic ways to make it work. Luckily, Nini, 24, from Dallas, has re-interpreted two big trends for us by combining her silky black jumpsuit with sexy summer shoes. Cuffed sleeves and a v-neck exude easy, any-time glamour, while caged heels make this outfit perfect for night. Snag the same overall, sleek effect with Mason's Silk Jumpsuit ($405) and the Cheri Black ($30) lace-up version from Bakers. Although this shorts-jumper deviates from the style of Nini's long one, it stirs up the same casual-glam sensation because of its belt, deep, ruffled-V-neck, and three-quarter length sleeves. Like Nini, we recommend topping the whole thing off with a slicked-back bun to balance out this day-to-night look.

A sweet trapeze dress is perfectly punctuated with dark thigh-highs.
A universally flattering style, the trapeze dress is ideal for any season, and its inherently light and airy nature is truly ideal for summer. We immediately flipped for the triangle-shaped choice made by Rowena, 19, from Australia when she opted for a bold bird-print dress. Adapting this free-as-a-bird idea and taking it ocean-side, we discovered LaRok's Beach Cabana Dress ($348), which is just as sweet with crystal charm-detail and ruffled tiers. And let's not forget Rowena's thigh-highs! While these socks could turn a youthful look saccharine, their dark hue poses a stylish juxtaposition that lends much-needed edge. We recommend Hue's Opaque Over-the-Knees icon ($8) version for a wallet-friendly pick, and BDG's Ribbed Slouchy Beanie ($28) to recreate Rowena's full look from head-to-toe.

Lace-up boots worn over skinny jeans makes a sleek outfit.
With all the overly air-conditioned destinations in summer (museums, movies, malls) it's always a good idea to have one go-to outfit that works well in cooler climes. Elena, 24, from Mexico, offered up a great alternative when she turned up on our radar with dark, skinny jeans tucked into boots. A good standby, her outfit is pleasantly casual without looking sloppy. Her shiny boots balance out her ever-so-lightly faded jeans, and the streamlined silhouette is very sleek. Get Elena's great base by pairing Topshop's Black Acid Baxter Skinny Jeans ($80) with Ann Demeulemeester's Lace-Up Flat Ankle Boots icon ($1105)Â--the buckle hardware adds a dose of tough-girl chicÂ--or Seychelles Lace Up Foldover Boot ($158) for an equally sturdy shoe at a more wallet-friendly price.Â--Liza Kaplan
